Yucateco Boxing League: Ogbas BC In Early Lead After Week-10 Bouts

……. As action resumes in Ilorin this weekend

Ogbas family boxing club have taken an early lead after week-10 hostilities of the Yucateco boxing league Season 2. Pugilists representing Ogbas bc have accrued more points across all weight categories going into last Friday’s brawl.

With several Pan-African bouts on the fight card, hostilities got on the way with a keenly contested 51kg brawl that saw Qozeem Abeeb of Angulo Siete boxing club secured a 3-2 victory over Samad Asude of Harmony bc. In the 63.5kg Progreso BC’s Qudus Omotayo recorded a 4-1 victory as he made a light work of Riliwan Salawu of Akil boxing club. Also in the 63.5kg Godsman Amaichi Harmony bc secured a 4-1 triumph over Ismail Isa of Angulo Siete.

It was more like a stroll in the park in the 67kg as Qudus Tijani of Miramontes bc bagged a 5-0 victory against Samuel Odunayo of E-Francis Aiyegbeni boxing club. Abdullahi Abdurasheed of Akil bc gave an insipid performance as he suffered a 5-0 defeat against Semiu Omotajo of Progreso bc in their 71kg contest.
