Kano Pillars Football Club technical crew has been relieved of their duty posts with immediate effect.

A statement signed by the spokesman of the club Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said this followed the expirations of the technical crew’s contractual agreement with club at the end of the just concluded 2023 Nigeria National League (NNL).

Malikawa said the technical crew’s contractual agreement with the club was for one season and that it had ended when the 2023 Nigeria National League was  rounded up with Super 8 which Sai Masu Gida ended in second position among the clubs that competed in the league and gained promotion back to the Nigeria Premier League.

The statement also said the players whose contract with club had ended should not come back to camp until they have been called.

Malikawa said any member of the outgoing technical crew  that is interested in continuing working with club should submit his application to the secretariat of the club.

He said the date of the club’s resumption for training had been postponed from Monday, July 17 to Sunday, July 23, 2023.

The spokesman explained that the management thanked the technical crew and the players for their contributions  in promoting the club in the just concluded football season and wished them success in all their dealings.
