Warri Wolves FC ended their losing streak against Enugu Rangers with a 2-0 victory in matchday two of the Nigeria Professional Football League. Godwin Oham’s volley in the 45th minute and Prince Ebhohon’s header in the 77th minute sealed the win for the Delta State club, snapping Rangers’ dominance in their last three head-to-head encounters.

With six points, Warri Wolves, currently in second place, will travel to face Remo Stars, the 2024/25 league winners and Nigeria’s CAF Champions representative, at the Ultra Modern Remo Stadium this weekend.

Rangers, who drew 0-0 against Kun-Khalifat FC in their opener, are still searching for their first win and will host Plateau United, who sit at the bottom of the league table after losing their first two games, in matchday three.
