In recognition of outstanding contributions to journeys that have religious or spiritual significance, the ministry of Tourism in the kingdom of Jordan recognized the efforts of the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) global Evangelist, Prophet Abel Taiwo Ojo and Nigeria’s foremost destination management company, UfitFly.

An award of recognition was presented to the duo during a dinner organized last weekend by the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism after the completion of the almost 1,500-person pilgrimage exercise spearheaded by Prophet Taiwo Ojo and Ufitfly.

The Jordanian official, while presenting the award, said, “Pilgrimage is not compulsory in Christianity, but we want to thank these distinguished personalities that have been motivating many Christians to choose to undertake journeys to holy sites to deepen their connection with God.”

“Pilgrims that visit here feel connected to the worldwide community of Christians, learn more about the history of Christianity, see sites where miracles happened, and receive special blessings while they also seek healing or acceptance of ailments.”

Addressing the press in Ibadan after the record pilgrimage trip, the team lead of Ufitfly, Evangelist Ajibola Ogunkeyede thanked Prophet Taiwo Ojo, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), the pilgrims, and all and sundry for their unwavering support in making the mega trip to Jordan a success.

“We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Prophet Taiwo Ojo of the Mercy Camp Ibadan for his dedication, guidance, and spiritual leadership. Your unwavering commitment to spreading God’s word and serving the community is truly inspiring. Your sermons have been a source of strength and encouragement to us and many others in the course of this journey,” said the UfitFly boss.
