Hon. Lawal Abiodun Saheed, an aspiring candidate for the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Egbeda Local Government, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.

In his goodwill message, Lawal congratulated the Muslim community for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual devotion throughout the fasting period. He noted that Ramadan is not only a time of abstinence but also a period that emphasizes compassion, self-discipline, generosity, and renewed faith in God.

The aspiring lawmaker urged residents of Egbeda and Oyo State at large to uphold the virtues learned during Ramadan, particularly love, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. He stressed that unity and harmony remain essential for the development and progress of the society.

Lawal further called on the people to use the festive period to pray for lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. He reiterated his commitment to promoting inclusive governance and fostering an environment where all citizens can thrive.

“Eid-el-Fitr is a time of joy and reflection. Let us celebrate responsibly and continue to embody the teachings of Ramadan by promoting peace, supporting one another, and working collectively for a better future,” he said.

He wished all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration.
