After a successful season where she played a pivotal role in helping the Prosperity Girls, Bayelsa Queens clinch the Nigeria Women Football League title for the 2024/2025 season, Iheoma Chinyere Susan have set her sights to playing for the Women national U20 side, Falconets and also taking her trade to Europe.

The reliable left back is confident in her abilities which she believes with more hard work she will be able to realize her set targets.

The former Naija Ratels FC of Abuja and Heartland FC of Owerri defender, maintained that winning the league with Bayelsa Queens was an unforgettable moment in her career which she will forever cherish, but that playing in the national team and Europe will be a dream come true.

“I have always dreamt of playing in the national team and in Europe which I believe winning the NWFL with Bayelsa Queens will help me achieve.

“The feeling was unexplainable and I will continue to cherish those moments forever. However, I have always dreamt of playing for the national team and in Europe which will be a dream come true if I achieve that.

“I know it will not come easy, but I have confidence in my abilities which I believe that with more hard work the dream is realizable”.

The triumph was Bayelsa Queens’ sixth Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title, which the The Prosperity Girls did in a resounding manner with a 4-1 demolition of Naija Ratels in the final round of the Super Six playoffs.

The Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne witnessed the best of Nigerian women football as the curtain fell on what has widely been hailed as the most competitive and tightly-contested NWFL Super Six in history, with four teams still in the title race heading into the final day.
