    Badagry-Ajegunle Division Set For Spires 5-Aside Tournament

    The Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer tournament will hit the road again this weekend with the Badagry divisional qualifiers. Following the successful hosting of the campaign in Ikeja, Ikorodu, and Epe division, hostilities will move to the “Land of [the] firsts”.

    The Hon. Lukmon Olumoh’s Sports Arena, Awodi-Ora, in Ajegunle will host the fixture from Saturday the 5th of July.

    As the team’s eye the ultimate prize from their first kick of the ball, Akins United will hope to secure their first win when they file out against Chekas United football club in the opening match. Micro Giant FC will lock-horns against Emaljus football club in the second game by 1:00. PM on saturday.

    The excitement resumes again on Sunday July 6th. Joint FC will square up against Favour Galaxy FA, while All Saints football club will file out against Olhan FA.

    The Top three teams in the Badagry division will secure the ticket to the state championship. They will also recieved prize monies ranging from N500,000, N300,000, and N100,000 based on their position at the end of the tournament.

    Sixteen qualified teams across the five divisions in Lagos will compete in the Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament later in the year.
