    Tinubu Forwards 28-Man List Of Ministerial Nominees To Senate

    President President Bola Tinubu has forwarded a 28-man list of ministerial nominees to the Senate for consideration.
    The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, who read President Tinubu’s letter on Thursday, called for an expeditious consideration of the nominees.
    Akpabio, who also confirmed that more nominees were expected from the Executive, added that Tinubu’s letter was in line with Section 147 (2) of the 1999 Constitution as amended.
    The disclosure of the list was preceded by a point of order raised by the Senate Leader, Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, to allow the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, access into the Red Chamber to formally present the document.
    The names of the nominees include: Abubakar Momoh, Ambassador Yusuf Miatama Tukur,
    Ahmed Dangiwa, Hannatu Musawa, Uche Nnaji, Dr. Berta Edu, Dr. Dorris Aniche Uzoka, David Umahi, Nyesom Wike, Badaru Abubakar,
    Nasiru Ahmed el-Rufai.
    Others nominees are Ekperipe Ekpo, Nkiru Onyeojiocha, Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, Stella Okotette, Uju Kennedy Ohaneye, Bello Muhammad G, Dele Alake, Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), Muhammad Idris, Olawale Edun, Waheed Adebayo Adelabu, Iman Suleiman Ibrahim,
    Professor Ali Pate, Professor Joseph, Senator Abubakar Kyari,
    Senator John Eno, Senator Sani Abubakar Danladi.
