Rugby Africa has appointed the President of Nigeria Rugby Football Federation, Dr Ademola Are to the Audit and Risk Committee, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In a letter signed by the General Manager, Rugby Africa, Azzouz Aib, it read: “Mr Jurie Roux, acting Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee is pleased and honoured to inform you of your official appointment as member of the Audit and Risk Committee.”
“You will be contacted in the following days in order to provide you with all the practical details that will allow you to onboard in the best condition.”
Dr Ademola an experienced sports administrator who emerged as the President of NRFF has provided the federation with the stability that has been lacking in years and also given Nigeria a leeway into Africa’s rugby body.
