Nigerian Victor Osimhen has cut a cult figure with his impressive performance in Napoli, hence he is undoubtedly one of the most sought after strikers in world football at the moment.

The 24 year old Nigerian scored 26 goals to emerge Serie A top scorer in the just ended season where his club were crowned champions.

There have been lots of speculations over where his future lies following his best ever season professionally.

Tuttosport write that president Aurelio De Laurentiis has mapped out plans to keep the player in Naples.

A hefty price tag of €150m has been placed on his by the club to fend off suitors while a new contract offer of €6.5m which could rise to €7m with bonuses is being prepared to keep him at the club until 2027 behind the current one that expires in 2025.

Napoli have placed a tag of “untouchable” on certain players in the squad following the Scudetto triumph report Corriere dello Sport.

Several players from the side are being courted by fellow European teams with Osimhen and Lozano being some of the most sought after including Zielinski.

The club as per the report has however moved to block the outgoing of players they deem untouchable in the project.

Four players namely captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Stanislav Lobotka, Andre Zambo Anguissa and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have all been said to be going nowhere according to the report.

No offers would be entertained for any of the listed players who are expected to form a cog of the team next season.
