Kano/Jigawa Customs Service recently organized a Wellness Marathon, emphasizing the importance of work-life balance. The event, led by Acting Area Controller ,Deputy Comptroller Usman Adamu, aimed to promote officer well-being and team cohesion.

Adamu stressed that health and camaraderie are vital to enforcement duties, saying the exercise was an investment in individual and collective strength. He encouraged officers to prioritize physical fitness, nutrition, and medical check-ups, noting that a healthy team performs better and serves with greater resilience.

The event was part of Comptroller-General Adewale Adeniyi’s initiative to promote work-life balance. Adamu praised the turnout, saying it showed officers’ readiness to adopt healthier lifestyles.

The exercise also fostered interaction and teamwork among officers, strengthening relationships and trust. The next edition is scheduled to hold in two weeks’, considering the approaching Ramadan.
