Jannik Sinner took the lead with an interesting score line of a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 win over Alexander Zverev to claim the 2025
Zverev awaken a strong and tough but brief fightback in the second set was crushed by the world number one as he wrapped up the win in two hours and 27 minutes.
The Italian becomes the first man to retain the title since Novak Djokovic’s “three-peat” from 2019 to 2021.
Germany’s Zverev who while playing with Djokovic kick started a conversation with the Serbian in the match before their semi final match, lashing out comments of administration of how the sebian has won 24 grand slams while he is still on searching for his first ever grand slam after making it to three finals thus far.
