Asisat Oshoala, the Super Falcons and Barcelona Femini forward, has reiterated her commitment towards creating opportunities for the younger generation so that they can achieve their dreams.
Oshoala stated this in Lagos when Nigeria’s leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturer, Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited yesterday, December the 25th, hosted the six-time women’s African footballer of the year.
According to her, “it’s always a pleasure for her to inspire the upcoming women footballers across the country.

“When I look back at how I started, I know I had friends who were even better than me but there were limited opportunities so I want to create more opportunities for the younger generation so they can achieve their dreams as well.”
The Super Falcon striker who was recently crowned 2023 CAF Women’s ‘Player of the Year was hosted to a befitting celebratory reception in her honour at the Mini-Stadium, Abati Barracks, Ojuelegba, Lagos.
The event on Monday also included the Asisat Oshoala Football4girls tournament, where over 16 Football girls Academies in Lagos State battles for a prize money and scholarship to Spain to study and play football.
