    Quarter Finalists Emerge At Kasali Kudus Ileya Cup

    Eight teams have made it to the quarter finals in the 5th Kasali Kudus Ileya Cup competition which is currently ongoing at Kasali Kudus Sports centre, Abaranje Okeorube, Lagos.

    After a pulsating Round of 16 matches, defending champions, Ologbonla FC booked their place alongside Kings FC, Believers Foundation FC, Panatinacos FC, Treasure Island FC, Future Star 99 FC, Horobo FC and Kadima FC.

    Ologbonla FC defeated Adebayo Samba 3-1 in the Round of 16 to qualify for the quarter final. They will face Kings FC which won their game 13 -12 through penalties after playing out 2-2 draw.

    Meanwhile, Panatinacos FC which beat Peace FC 2-1 to progress will battle Believers Foundation FC after they hammered Future Guys 6-0.

    Treasure Island FC stopped King FC Egan 3-1 and they will now confront Future Stars FC which defeated Golden Planner 2-0 to secure their ticket.

    In the last quarter final fixture, Horobo FC that beat Big Stars 11-10 on penalties after a 2-2 scoreline, will entertain Kadima FC that pummeled Trench Kids 6-0.

    The race for the top scorer award is closely contested with
    Ojo David of Believers foundation FC leading with 4goals. He has
    Ajaka Olaoluwa Samuel of Kadima FC breathing down his neck with 3 goals. Other contestants include David Dimaku of Ologbonla FC with 2 goals and
    Adelere Samuel of Believers foundation FC who also has 2 goals.

    All quarter final matches will go down on Thursday May 14 and on Friday May 15, 2026.
