_Sports Facility Expert Ebi Egbe Eyes APC Southern Ijaw House Of Representatives Ticket_
It is interesting days ahead for the people of Southern Ijaw Constituency, as some well placed individuals have started expressing their intentions to get the APC ticket to the green chambers.
One most interesting personality to throw his hat into the ring is Chief Ebi Ezekiel Egbe, one of the most illustrious sons from the Southern Ijaw constituency.
Ebi Egbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Monimitchelle Sports Construction Company, a globally recognised sports outfit and fondly known as Moni Love, this weekend, released a press statement on his mission and vision to positively change the narratives of representation in the politics of Southern Ijaw.
“I stand before you today, not just as a candidate, but as one of you, a man whose life has been shaped by the same realities, struggles, and aspirations that define our great constituency.
“All my life, I have been a people centered individual. I have gone through the ropes, faced challenges head on, and earned my place through hard work, resilience, and determination. This journey has given me more than success, it has given me understanding. I understand our pains. I understand our needs. And most importantly, I understand our potential.”
“Southern Ijaw is rich in talent, rich in culture, and rich in promise. But for too long, that promise has not translated into real development. The gap between what we have and what we deserve is too wide and it is time to close that gap.”
He continued, “As the CEO of a leading company in Africa’s sports infrastructure sector with corporate head office in Yenagoa, I have built systems, managed people, delivered projects, and operated at the highest level of professionalism. I am grounded in the numbers game, I understand planning, execution, and accountability. These are the same principles I will bring to the Green Chamber.
“My mission is simple: to deliver measurable, people focused development that directly impacts every community in Southern Ijaw.”
First, Human Capital Development;
“We will invest in our greatest asset our people. Through strategic legislation and partnerships, we will promote skills acquisition, youth empowerment, and access to education and opportunities. Our young people must not just dream, they must be equipped to achieve.
Second, Economic Growth and Job Creation;
“We will push for policies that will enhance creation of local industries, support small businesses, and create sustainable employment. From sports to agriculture, from enterprise to innovation, we will build an economy that works for our people.
Third, Infrastructure Development;
“Development must be visible and impactful. We will advocate for and attract critical infrastructures like roads, schools, healthcare facilities, and modern sports infrastructure that can serve as hubs for community engagement and economic activity.
Fourth, Strategic Use of Networks and Influence; “Representation is not just about speaking, it is about connecting. With our strong national and international networks, we will bring opportunities home. We will ensure Southern Ijaw is not isolated but fully integrated into Nigeria’s development agenda.
Fifth, Effective and Responsible Legislation;
“We will not sponsor laws for headlines. We will sponsor laws for impact. EveryAPC bill, every motion, every intervention will be guided by one question; How does this improve the life of the people of Southern Ijaw?”
The well grounded grassroots politician and successful businessman, added conclusively; “My people, this is not about politics as usual. This is about purposeful leadership. This is about results. This is about a representative who understands both the streets and the system. Here is someone who can connect the grassroots to governance.
“We have the popularity. We have the network. We have the experience. Now, we must have the will to act. Together, we will change the narrative of Southern Ijaw.
“Together, we will build a constituency that works for everyone.
“Together, we will create a future our children will be proud of. I ask for your trust. I ask for your support. And I assure you, your voice will not just be heard, it will be felt.
“Thank you, and God bless our working Governor and Southern Ijaw Federal Constituency.”
