Bendel Insurance of Benin are currently walking tight rope after former Moroccan champions RS Berkane held them to a 2-2 draw in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Saturday.
The host netted the opening goal earlier in the game before Hamza El Moussaoui equalised just before halftime.
Vincent Augustus restored the Insurance lead in the 60th minute and seized control of the game.
The Moroccan side scored a leveller in the 78th minute through Mohammed Mourabt after the Insurance backline failed to clear their lines.
The second leg is slated for Rabat, next weekend and the winner over the two legs will progress to the group stage of the competition.
