Atanomeyovwi celebrates Francis Obigbo as APC State Acting Chair

Olorogun Francis Atanomeyovwi, Honourable Federal Commissioner, National Assembly Service Commission has described the emergence of Chief Barr Francis Obigbo as acting State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State as an act of God, urging party faithfuls to support him to succeed in the task of repositioning the party ahead of 2027.
In a statement released to newsmen on Sunday morning, Chief Atanomeyovwi noted that as the APC begins a new phase under a new leader, all lovers of the party who trully desire a change in the affairs of Delta State must rally round Chief Obigbo in the task of revamping the party to berth the needed changes in the Delta State, stressing that the constitution of the party supports the emergence of Chief Obigbo as acting State Chairman as the Chairman is on medical vacation abroad.
He expressed joy with the development, calling on all party leaders to join hands with Chief Francis Obigbo so as to change the fortunes of the APC, bring the kind of Democratic revolution that took place in Edo State to Delta State and liberate the people from the claws of the PDP.
He prayed God to keep and bless the new State Chairman with the wisdom to lead the party, affirming that God was on his side and that
“No weapon formed against him shall prosper. Those who are against him shall receive shame and disgrace throughout their political career”, Chief Atanomeyovwi said.
Meanwhile, the New Delta Coalition, Local Government Chairmen of the APC in the Ndokwa nation and many other groups in the party have thrown their weights behind the emergence of Chief Barr Francis Obigbo as acting State Chairman of the APC in Delta State, calling on men of goodwill to support the development in the best interest of the party.
In separate statements, the New Delta Coalition and the APC LGA Chairmen expressed full support for Obigbo, maintaining that he was the right and proper person to step in for the growth of the party.
