The peaceful outcome of the Bomadi APC local government congress held on Saturday 21st February ,2026, has been attributed to the political wisdom and savvy of the Council Chairman , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye .
Leaders and stakeholders who spoke at the Bomadi Town Hall in Bomadi, headquarters of Bomadi local government area of Delta State , venue of the LGA congress that ratified and affirmed the consensus Executive list which saw Perekeme Seleyeibo as party Chairman , alongside 26 other executive members , described Hon Dagidi Andaye’s coordination of the successful.and hitch free congress , as “top notch”.
Among leaders who eulogized Andaye’s robust coordination of the APC Bomadi local government chapter congress , were the member representing Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives , Hon Nicholas Mutu, the outgone and incumbent party Chairmen, Kayode Tinaka and Perekeme Seleyeibo, one time Bomadi Council Chairman , Hon William Angadi , former Chairman and current Executive Assistant to the Governor , Dr Denghan Macaulay , and one time Vice Chairman of the local government , Hon Flora Bripu, among others
They eulogized the Bomadi Council Chairman for his indepth capacity for harmonizing various interests and tendencies in the local government, in such a manner that the LGA congress ended on a fretless note , with party leaders and stakeholders alike , emboldened to strengthen the bonds of unity and inclusiveness in achieving their collective aims of returning President Bola Tinubu , Governor Sheriff Oborevwori , as well as all party candidates, in the 2027 vote count in the area.
Political observers enthuse that with the peaceful Ward and Local Government Congresses done and dusted in Bomadi , Hon Dagidi Rawlings Andaye , has etched his name in the political sand of times of the local government , as an astute manager of men , resources , and situations .
Andaye , who also doubles as the Secretary of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ( ALGON), Delta State Chapter , has endeared himself to friends and critics alike , who now see him as a rallying point and breath of political fresh air , devoid of bitterness , and primed towards the accelerated development in Bomadi.
His total alignment with the MORE agenda for Renewed Hope of the Oborevwori administration , has translated into visible projects execution and completion in Bomadi , exemplified by the over 14 mega projects executed by his administration , in just one year in office as Council Chairman .
Indeed , the Time Africa Magazine “Best Local Government Chairman of the Year 2025” awardee , along with legion diadems from the Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ) and National Association of Nigeria Students ( NANS), among others too numerous to mention, has become a reference point in the political dynamics of Bomadi .
