Big Win for Comrade Taofeek,h e emerged MWUN 2025 Best Staff Award winner, presented by AIT.
This humble Security Officer from Oyo State has been crushing it at MWUN with his sharp instincts and dedicatio.n Collegueas and executives alike praised his diligence and crime-spotting skills.
MWUN’s President-General, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi, celebrated Taofeek’s loyalty and commitment, calling him a role model . “This award’s just the start of greater things!” he said.
Comrade Taofeek thanked the team for their support.
The African Independent Television (AIT) recently awarded Comrade Taofeek Adeleke best Maritme Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN) Staff Award for the year 2025 at its corporate head office in Alagbado, Lagos.
Comrade Taofeek was described as a selfless Security Officer, whose services for the foremost Maritme Labour Union in the country has never been in doubt. He has continued to serve the Union diligently without blemish with so much vigour, brilliance and dignity for his job.
The Oyo State born former Dockworker turn security personnel for the Union is also said by executives of the Union, and some of his colleagues that he is one who has the bird’s eyes for detecting crimes before they are hatched.
While Comrade Taofeek was presenting the Award, although first of its kind to the President-General of the Maritme Workers’ Union, Comrade Francis Bunu Abi at his office on his arrival, the fierce Labour Activist praised
Comrade Taofeek for his dedication, commitment, loyalty and responsiveness to duty at all times. Comrade Bunu also said of Taofeek as one Staff amongst his contemporaries who sees duty call at anytime it bekons as dignity to the soul of man; hence, he can go at any length to bring results to his superiors and others, irrespective of the situation.
The leader of the Union, Comrade Bunu admonished Comrade Taofeek to continue to be of good behavior always as this Award is just the symbol and the beginning of better days ahead.
Comrade Taofeek thanked the PG of MWUN and his executives for all the support and encouragement he has enjoyed so far since his assumption of office as the current President-General of the Union.
