Pamodzi Sports Marketing has called on Nigerians to rally behind the Super Eagles and their new Head Coach, Eric Chelle, as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Mike Itemuagbor, CEO of Pamodzi Sports Marketing, expressed support for Chelle’s appointment, emphasizing that Nigerians should focus on backing the coach rather than questioning his suitability.

Itemuagbor praised the promise made by Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, to support the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in securing a World Cup spot.

He urged Nigerians to unite behind Chelle and the Super Eagles, highlighting the economic, social, and political benefits of the team’s success. Itemuagbor noted that major football tournaments have a significant impact on the economy, particularly in terms of brand sponsorships.

The Super Eagles will resume their World Cup qualifying campaign in March with matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
