Patrick Mboma, one time Indomitable Lions of Cameroon striker, has stated that Nigeria’s Super Eagles is much a better side than the Indomitable Lions, taking his reference to the last Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire.
The 5-time African champions have suffered back-to-back defeats to the Super Eagles in the African Cup of Nations.
The last defeat came at the just-concluded 2023 edition in Ivory Coast.
Mboma who was part of the Cameroonian team that defeated the Super Eagles in the final of the 2000 AFCON.
“Cameroon at AFCON 2023? It is between mixed or failure, for me, it’s a failure.
“There was only one victory even if it was convincing and then in the 8th, there was no foto finish between the two nations.
“Nigeria by it’s power and its application is more superior”, he said.
