Residents and stakeholders of the Idi-Iroko Adewole Begbadimu Community in Ibadan have extended warm congratulations to media personality Zainab Olayiwola following her schedule coronation as the Yeye Amuludun of the community.

The coronation ceremony, is scheduled to hold on April 25, 2026, and will be officiated by Baale Sikiru Ogunkeye, the traditional head of the community.

The event will take place at the Idi-Iroko field, located along Liberty Academy Road, off Taska Filling Station, Akala Express, and will attract a notable gathering of community leaders, well-wishers, and cultural enthusiasts.

Speaking ahead of the event, Baale Ogunkeye described the appointment as a recognition of Zainab Olayiwola’s contributions to community development and her influence as a media figure. He expressed confidence that her new role would further strengthen unity and cultural preservation within the community.

The community members commended the choice, noting that her elevation reflects a blend of modern influence and traditional values. Many highlighted her track record in advocacy and public engagement as qualities that make her well-suited for the title.

The Yeye Amuludun title is traditionally bestowed on individuals who demonstrate commitment to the welfare and progress of their community, particularly in areas of social harmony and cultural promotion.

The ceremony will features cultural displays, music, and goodwill messages from various groups, marking a significant moment in the community’s traditional and social calendar.
