Chief Vincent Okumagba, President of the Unified Supporters Club of Nigeria, expressed confidence in the Super Eagles’ chances of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup after their 1-0 win over Rwanda. Okumagba praised the team’s technical and physical prowess, noting their impressive performance despite Victor Osimhen’s early injury.

Regarding reports of potential visa issues for the supporters club’s trip to South Africa, Okumagba downplayed concerns, attributing them to possible “mind games.” He stated that he’s in touch with the South African embassy, which is responding positively.

Okumagba believes the Super Eagles have a 60% chance of qualifying, emphasizing the crucial nature of the upcoming match against South Africa on September on Tuesday, September 9th.

The Super Eagles currently trail South Africa by six points, making the upcoming match vital for both teams.
