    Simidele Adeagbo, the Nigerian athlete who’s taking the winter sports world by Storm is ready to take on Lillehammer’s icy slopes in Monobob World Cup.

    Adeagbo, a trailblazing Nigerian athlete who has etched her name in the annals of sports history as the first African competitor in Bobsleigh at the prestigious BMW IBSF World Championship in Winterberg, Germany.

    This groundbreaking achievement marked a significant milestone not only for Nigeria but for the entire African continent.

    Adeagbo’s journey to the top of the bobsleigh world began with her remarkable performance at the 2018 Winter Olympics, where she made history for Nigeria and Africa’s inaugural female skeleton athlete.

    Her determination and skill earned her a commendable 20th place finish, cementing her status as the first black female Olympian in the sport’s history.
