    President of Athletic Federation of Nigeria,AFN, Tonobok Okowa has said following the qualification of Nigeria 400×100 relay team, preparation will be put in top gear.
    The AFN President in a joyous mood said the coaches and the athletes will not lack what is due to bring out the best of them.
    In an exclusive interview with journalists okowa

    said team Nigeria will be going to close camping to perfect their strategy to ensure they do very well as they compete with the rest of the world.
    “Like I said, I know our athletes we make it, beating the 38.40 seconds with 38.26 seconds shown that they can improve on it”
    ” Team Nigeria have potential medalist as well in other sports they qualified to make Africa proud”.
    ” At this time we don’t need any form of distraction and our focus is to hit Budapest to display our best performance and come back victorious”.
    Tonobok who double as chairman of Delta state sports commission also salute the Nigeria Super Falcons for their 3-2 heroic victory against 2023 Fifa women world cup host,Australia.
    He dismissed the failure of Nigeria Relay Team inability to qualified in both Benin City and Togo meet with promising confidence on Budapest.
    He also urged them to qualify from the group stage as they face Ireland in their last group game.
