Italian Serie A side Napoli has confirmed that injured Nigeria’s Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen will be out for 4 weeks.

The lanky attacker suffered a medium-grade lesion of the biceps femoris in his right thigh last Friday in an international friendly between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia in Portugal.

He underwent an MRI Scan to determine the degree of the injury.
It is expected that Osimhen will be ruled out for at least three of Napoli’s next matches, which means he will be out for 4-6 weeks.
Rudi Garcia will now have to do without his leading goalscorer, at a minimum, for the upcoming matches against Hellas Verona in Serie A, as well as the Champions League trip to Union Berlin, as well as the visit from Milan the following weekend.
