Nigerian community in Queensland, Australia, has promised massive support for the Super Falcons as they kick-start the 2023 Women World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Blessing Agada, the president of the Nigerian Community in Queensland, Brisbane, on Tuesday, after the training session of the Super Falcons said they were so happy to host the team and planned to give massive support to the team, when they begin their campaign on Friday, at the Rectangular Stadium, Melbourne.
“We are indeed so happy to host the Super Falcons here in Australia,” he said.
“The community is out to support the girls all through because we see them as our people and we are all out here to show them that we are truly behind them.
“We have secured quite a number of tickets for the games, we bought it on bulk and we plan to make the Stadium environment lively, by bringing in drums and other instruments that can spur the team to victory. We look forward to a great tournament,” he concluded.
The Super Falcons will start their campaign on Friday against Canada at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium.
