After few weeks of inactivity owing to some force majeure, actions will return first week in July at the Abalti mini stadium in Surulere, Lagos, as teams battle each other at the United Football Championship (UFC).
The most talked about, and most watched and followed grassroot league in Africa, promises to be back and better as all grey areas noticed before the unanticipated break, has already been addressed or taken care of, to engender a more improved and better league.
While speaking to newsmen, after the club Owner’s meeting, Emmanuel Udeogu, who is the chairman, UFC said “the break was unplanned, but now all arrangements have been made to ensure the league’s commencement in the first week of July.
“We wish to appeal to all our stakeholders, club owners, sponsors, fans to please bear with us. We regret every inconveniences this must have caused them”, he said.
