Elite handball Coaches in Nigeria, are converged in Abuja, for an IHFG License Coaching course packaged by the Confederation of African Handball (CAHB) in partnership with the International Handball Federation (IHF) and Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN).
The course which enters Day 3 today, is calibrated into two parts, classroom work at the Velodrome in Package A, and court-side practicals at the Indoor Sport Hall, located in Package B of the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The course which attracted participants from all the clubs playing in the Ardova Handball Premier League, and the sides in the Division 1 Championship, began on Saturday at 10am.
Most of the course participants arrived in Abuja on Friday, and the weeklong course will run daily, until March 22, 2025.
The course instructors are Dr. Zoltan Marczinka from Hungary, he is the IHF Instructor; Mr. Kelvin Konan from Cote d’Ivoire is the CAHB Representative; and former Nigerian international, Micheal Tangahaar who is now based in the Republic of Benin; he is the Local Instructor.
