Chief Francis Atanomeyovwi, former Honourable Federal Commissioner representing the South-South Geopolitical zone, National Assembly Service Commission, Abuja has described Saturday meeting between President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as strategic and significant to the political future of Delta state, assuring that Deltans should be prepared for better days ahead as the state is on the way into the league of progressive states in Nigeria.

In a statement he personally signed, Chief Atanomeyovwi, who served out his term as federal commissioner in February 2025, expressed delight with the outcome of the meeting, stressing that when things start to unfold, many naysayers would be shocked while men and women of goodwill celebrate.

‘’On Saturday March 8, 2025, former Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, His Excellency, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, CFR, met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria for mutual talks on the future of Delta State. That was a strategic meeting that sealed the deal for the political future of Delta state. The eagle has landed!

‘’The coast gets clearer by the day. Deltans should not be deceived. There are no other types of hair after grey hair. Just as they smile at this meeting, this is how they will beam with smiles during inauguration, one as re-elected President, the other as Governor in 2027! The meeting was fruitful! I can confirm to all who care to listen that Delta state is going to be delivered from inept administrations very soon.

‘’Praise God! We are already victorious in Jesus’ name. Amen. God’s favour is the best! Congratulations to Deltans in advance. Our redemption is near. The project is signed, sealed, and delivered. Cheers’’, the statement added.
