    _World press conference hits Friday_

    Countdown is on! Just 48 hours to go , the PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City Int’l Half Marathon kicks off.

    Big guns like Sunday Dare and Nyesom Wike are confirmed to attend, alongside other top brass .

    The world press conference goes live on Friday, so stay locked.

    A world press conference has been scheduled for Friday, December 5, at the Nicon Hilton Hotel, Abuja, starting at 10:00 a.m.

    Organisers say the briefing will set the tone for Saturday’s race, offering final updates on logistics, elite athletes, route management, and other preparations.

    Among the prominent figures expected at Saturday’s marathon are Presidential Spokesman Sunday Dare, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barr. Nyesom Wike, Minister of Youth, Ayodele Olawande, and Minister of State for Finance, Doris Nkiruka Uzoka-Anite.

    Their attendance underscores the growing national importance of the race, which continues to position Abuja as a premier destination for international sporting events.

    The PremiumTrust Bank Abuja City International Half Marathon has quickly become a fixture on Nigeria’s sports calendar, attracting elite runners, fitness enthusiasts, and spectators eager to witness world-class competition through the streets of the capital.

    This year’s edition will not only promote sports development but also highlight Abuja’s tourism potential and reinforce the commitment of key institutions, public and private, to youth engagement and healthy living.
