Kingsley Awodi’s passion for sports development knows no bounds as he has consistently being in the forefront of infrastructural development in Nigeria

When the immediate past Sports Minister, Hon Sunday Dare, initiated the novel idea of Adopt A Facility Initiative, Mr. Awodi was the first to come on board, partnering the Ministry of Sports to transform the Moshood Abiola International Stadium, Abuja among other facilities.

“It was a great initiative by Hon Dare and we had to be part of the great opportunity to contribute to Nigeria’s infrastructural development,” recalls Awodi, a top real estate developer based in Abuja.

He picks up the story again. “I am very passionate about sports development in Nigeria and I think one of the areas we really need to tackle is infrastructural deficiency in our sports.

“For me, I will continue to contribute my quota in this regard. What we did under Hon Sunday Dare was just a tip of the iceberg, we are ready to do much more in the years ahead,” he added

“I am happy with this recognition coming from a reputable organisation like Sportsville. This will spur me to do more and we will surely do more in the coming years,” he promised.
