Adebayo Adeleye, the talented Nigerian Super Eagles  goalkeeper, made a significant move to Enosis Neon Paralimni FC of Cyprus in July 2024. This transfer marked a new chapter in his career, following his departure from Israeli club Hapoel Jerusalem after six years

Adeleye, who had been with Hapoel Jerusalem since 2019, made 102 league appearances and kept 53 clean sheets, helping the team gain promotion to the Israeli Premier League. His impressive performances earned him a spot in the Super Eagles, Nigeria’s national team, with one cap to his name.

Enosis Neon Paralimni FC, a Cypriot professional football club, welcomed Adeleye with open arms. The club, founded in 1936, was looking to strengthen its squad, and Adeleye’s experience and skills made him an ideal fit. He signed a three-year contract with the club, expressing his gratitude and enthusiasm for the opportunity

During his time with Enosis Neon Paralimni, Adeleye made 30 league appearances and recorded double-digit clean sheets, showcasing his exceptional goalkeeping abilities. His impressive performances didn’t go unnoticed, and he caught the attention of Greek Super League side FC Volos, who signed him on a two-year deal in July 2025
