Sports Minister Enoh Motivates Nigeria Paralympic Team

After the recently concluded
2024 Paris Olympics,
Nigerians are of high hopes as
the Paralympics Team gear up for
good performance as the 2024
Para -Olympics begins next week.
The Paralympics games is
scheduled to hold between August 28 and
September 8.
The Minister of Sports Development ,Senator John
Owan Enoh, made a bold
declaration of incentives for the para-
athletes as a way of motivating them to
perform well at the Games.
Speaking from the Team Nigeria training
camp in Germany, Secretary General of
the Paralympic Committee of Nigeria
(PCN), Suleiman Isah said, “The Minister
of Sports, has assured monetary rewards to
the athletes that excel at the games.
“He promised every gold medal ($15,000),
silver medal ($10,000), and bronze
($5,000).
“This will serve as motivation for the
athletes, so, we expect all the athletes to
do well at the games,”
He, however, called on all Nigerians to
support the team, assuring the nation of
good outing at the 2024 Paralympic Games
in Paris, France.
Team Nigeria ended its Tokyo 2020
Paralympic Games campaign with four
gold, one silver, and five bronze medals.
