In a continued effort to contribute to a better society, the PZAFAAMA Helping Hand Foundation, founded by Ambassador CSP Usman Dimka and his wife, Princess (Dr.) Mrs. Hauwa Dimka have recently distributed food and essential items to the less privileged in the Federal Capital Territory.
Speaking during the outreach, Princess Dr. Awal Dimka said the initiative to support those in need has carried out another round of distributions across several areas in the nation’s capital, emphasizing that the act of giving has become a tradition for them, driven by the joy of sharing and their commitment to support the underprivileged.
She, however, expressed the deep fulfillment her family finds in serving humanity. “Service to humanity is our fulfillment in this life, Insha’Allah. Jazakhallahu Khairan,” she said, emphasizing that giving back during Ramadan is not only a religious duty but also a source of personal satisfaction.
Speaking in the same vein, CSP Usman Dimka highlighted the importance of generosity, stressing that true joy comes from sharing; no matter how little it may be, while encouraging members of the public to extend kindness to those who are struggling and to people in difficult times.
The Dimka family’s commitment to social justice and community service is evident in the direct involvement of both CSP Abdul-Dimka and his wife in the daily distribution of meals. “This project stems from the desire of my family to support needy families and provide food during this period,” said CSP Abdul-Dimka. His dedication to the initiative reflects his long-standing values of community service and empathy.
It will be recalled that the Foundation also supported Muslim faithful during the last Ramadan and the Christians during the Lenten period of 40 days. Recognizing the shared value of sacrifice and reflection in both religious traditions, ensuring they too are supported during this period of fasting.
The PZAFAAMA Helping Hand Foundation’s efforts are gaining widespread recognition for their consistency and impact. Through their outreach, the Dimka family hopes to inspire others to contribute to creating a more compassionate society, as the foundation’s vision has remained dedicated to humanitarian efforts, particularly during the festive season, reinforcing the spirit of compassion and community support.
By fostering a sense of unity and encouraging acts of kindness, the PZAFAAMA Helping Hand Foundation not only uplifts those in need but also cultivates a deeper understanding of the values that bind us together as a community. As they continue their mission, the Dimka family remains committed to ensuring that the spirit of giving transcends beyond the festive season, reminding everyone of the enduring power of empathy and generosity.
