Protest Looters Threaten Business Owner
A Benin based business woman Mrs Ese ibuje has called on the state police Command to come to her aid as suspected protest looters who invaded her shop in Benin City has been threatening her life.
She alleged that during the general protest some youth invaded her shop and carted away goods worth millions of Naira.
Mrs ibuje who deal on expensive jewellerys and others house hold items alleged that the looters also went away with huge cash in different currencies.
She said some of the suspect she could identity has been arrested why others at large have been sending different threat text messages and calls planing to elimate her if those arrested are not released.
The Benin based business woman said owing to the threat she went into hiding leaving her house and business in the state, but the suspected assilants have remain on her trail from state to state.
She said her life and that of her family members are in serious danger ,appeals for law enforcement protection , she said the police authorities has assured her of speedy investigation and prosecution of the suspects.
