    Prof. Moronfolu Emerges New NASSIM President

    The Nigeria Society for Sports Management has elected Prof Raimi Abiodun Moronfolu as their new President.
    This was the fallout of the Society’s just concluded Annual National Conference held in Jos, the Plateau state capital.A press statement from the Public Relations unit of the society informed that the well attended conference brought together Scholars, Sports administrators, Policy makers and industry stakeholders from across the country to deliberate on contemporary issues in sports governance, innovation, ethics and sustainable development.

    The election of Professor Moronfolu was one of the major highlights proceedings according to the press release.
    Professor Moronfolu, distinguished scholar and seasoned sports management expert, to the Presidency, a wealth of academic experience, administrative Confidence and professional leadership within the sports sector.
    His emergence reflects the confidence of members in his vision to strengthen institutional frameworks, promote research-driven practice and enhance collaboration between academia and industry.
    In his acceptance remarks, Professor Moronfolu expressed to members of the Society for the trust reposed in him .

    He reaffirmed his commitment to advancing professionalism , ethical standards, capacity building and strategic partnerships that will reposition sports management in Nigeria for greater National and global relevance.

    It is therefore imperative to note that The Society looks forward to a new era of progressive leadership under Professor Moronfolu as it continues to champion excellence in sports management education, research and practice across the country.
