The Citadel of Grace Mission Int’l recently held its annual inter-house sports competition, and NextFootballStars Foundation was proud to be there as a sponsor and supporter.
At NextFootballStars, we are committed to transforming the lives of children from harsh and disadvantaged backgrounds through sports and education, so supporting this event aligned deeply with our mission. It was an honour to stand with these remarkable children on such a special day.
The atmosphere was electric as the children competed in races, relays, marathons, and more. Dressed in vibrant house colours, they showed not just athletic ability, but resilience, teamwork, and an infectious spirit that lit up the entire place.
A standout moment was the presentation of the NextFootballStars Award and Scholarship for Academic Brilliance to Obianigwe Dominion Ifeakachukwu, a 9-year-old in Basic 4, who stood out among over 100 pupils by getting all his test answers correct. His excellence is a reminder that brilliance can thrive anywhere when given the right support.
Another highlight was Precious Chioma Chukwu, a 10-year-old in Basic 5, who led Green House to sporting excellence and won the NextFootballStars Champions Award, inspiring her peers with her leadership and determination.
