    Police Zones Go Head-to-Head At 2026 Asaba Police Games Wrestling Challenge

    The 15th Biennial Police Games (BIPOGA) kicked off on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, with impressive results in wrestling.

    Ayodele Esther (Zone 2) won gold in the 65kg women’s category, followed by Chidera Chibueze (Zone 9) and Seleakiare Alfred (Zone 16).

    In the 97kg Greco-Roman category, Shadrac Hunu (Force Headquarters) took gold, followed by Muokokwu Anthony (Zone 13) and Nweze Kingsley (Zone 9).

    Ikechukwu Robbinson (Zone 9) won the 77kg Greco-Roman category, followed by Nwolisa Kingsley (Zone 13) and Kelvin Nwose (Zone 5).

    Women’s wrestling events saw Dimejesi Nkechi (Zone 13) winning gold in the 76kg category, while Ezeugwu Ifeyinwa (Zone 9) took top spot in the 72kg category.
