PGI Coach Uba Talks Tough Ahead of SPOCS U19 Tournament

    BY RAYMOND NWADUBA

Perfect God Interest (PGI) Football Academy coach, Daniel Freeman Uba is waxing lyrical and talking tough as his team intensifies their preparation ahead the SPOCS U19 Scouting tournament.

The program which begins in less than two weeks time at Ikenne, Remo, Ogun State, from November 15 – November 20, will parade some of the best academies within Nigeria and even beyond.
But the self-styled gaffer is not perturbed as he fancies his team’s chances at the 5-day event.
“We are really excited about this tournament, which the boys can’t just wait for it to begin.
“We are in high spirit and ready to give our best.
“I just hope luck also shines on us so that at the end some of my exciting talents can be selected.
“For us that will be a win or a goal”, he noted.
PGI were drawn in Group G alongside Stormers FC, G-Innovation and MKA FC.
They will open their account at the tournament against Stormers FC on the opening day at the Remo stadium at 8pm.
