Paris Olympics: NOC Celebrates D’Tigress Victory Over Canada

The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) has lauded D’ Tigress for their historic win over Canada.
D’Tigress defeated world number 5 – Canada in a 79- 70 at the ongoing summer Olympics in Paris.
The Nigeria women are the first African team to play in Olympics quarter-finals following this historic win.
32 year-old D’ Tigress coach Rena Wakama becomes
first female coach to win an Afrobasket title, participating actively in the Olympics.
American born Wakama led team Nigeria in defeating top 3 rated teams, she led D’Tigress to a historic win in 20 years.
