Serie A defending champions Napoli have turned down a 130 million euros bid from Saudi Pro League side, Al Hilal, for their star striker Victor Osimhen which is the most that has been offered for an African player.

Having failed to secure PSG forward Kylian Mbappe, Al Hilal have turned their attention the Super Eagles forward who was in devastating form last season.

The Saudi Pro League side have already secured the services of Kalidou Koulibaly, Rúben Neves and Sergej Milinković-Savić, all from the top five leagues in Europe.

Napoli’s response is not surprising, as they are demanding more than 150 million euros for the striker.

The Partenopei are also close to reaching an agreement with the Osimhen regarding his contract extension.

As they begin their title defense, Napoli will be hoping to count on the services of their star forward for the new season.
