    Ogba Lauds Oborevwori, Team Delta for Dominant Back-to-Back NSF Win

    Chief Solomon Ogba, a two-time former Commissioner of Sports in Delta State,and former President of the Athletic Federation of Nigeria (AFN) was beaming with  smiles as he extends warm congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Team Delta contingent, and Deltans home and abroad on their remarkable achievement. The team emerged victorious at the 22nd National Sports Festival, held in Abeokuta, Ogun State, retaining the title and making it a back-to-back win.

    As a sports enthusiast and administrator, Chief Ogba has always emphasized the importance of podium finish in local and international competitions. He consistently advises Delta State athletes to strive for excellence and bring home medals, it was heartwarming to see his efforts bearing fruit.

    With a broad smile, Chief Ogba reached out to Governor Oborevwori, praising his leadership and support for sports development in Delta State.

    “Your Excellency, I heartily congratulate you and the entire Team Delta on this outstanding achievement,” he said. “Retaining the title is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our athletes, coaches, and support staff.”

    Chief Ogba’s passion for sports development globally is evident in his words. As a former Commissioner of Sports, he had played a pivotal role in shaping the state’s sports landscape, and it was fulfilling to see his vision and efforts yielding results.

    “I’m thrilled to see our athletes bringing home medals and making Delta State proud,” Chief Ogba continued. “This achievement is a direct result of the emphasis on podium finish, which has been my mantra as a sports administrator.

    I’m proud of our athletes for rising to the challenge and demonstrating their prowess on the national stage.”

    Oborevwori, visibly elated by the team’s performance, expressed his gratitude to Chief Ogba for his unwavering support and guidance. “Chief Ogba, your contributions to sports development in Delta State have been invaluable,” he said.

    “Your advice and counsel have been instrumental in shaping our athletes’ mindset and driving them to excel. We’re grateful for your passion and commitment.”

    The congratulatory message from Chief Ogba was not only a testament to the team’s achievement but also a reflection of his dedication to sports development in Delta State.
