    NPFL Return: Ikya Demands Absolute Commitment, Sacrifice From Officials, Players Of Lobi Stars

    Chairman, Lobi Stars Football Club, FC, Terver Ikya, has demanded renewed commitment and absolute sacrifice from players of the club as the team enters the second stanza of the Nigeria National League, NNL.

    Making the demand in a charge delivered to officials and players of the club, in Makurdi, the chairman made it clear that the overriding objective of Lobi Stars, this season remains a return to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

    In a statement issued by the Media Team of Lobi Stars, while Ikya stressed that “absolute sacrifice and renewed commitment” is the way to go in this season, he insisted that the club has reached a crucial stage where every point carries the weight of destiny.

    According to the statement, “Chairman of the club, Simon Terver Ikya, delivered a powerful charge, demanding absolute sacrifice and renewed commitment as the season reaches a crucial stage where every point now carries the weight of destiny.

    “Beyond the battle for points, the chairman stressed unity, urging the squad to remain bonded on and off field, noting that only a united family can overcome the challenge ahead.”

    Therefore, the camp resolved to put in their best, even as the two newly recruited players that were recently unveiled joined the club to actialise the dream of taking Lobi back to the NPFL.

    Furthermore, the statement noted that as training intensifies, Lobi Stars have clearly drawn the line, ready to fight, believe and reclaim their elite place in Nigeria’s club football.

    Responding, the trio of Barnabas Imenger Jnr., Akile Monday and Abdulazeez Tijani, the players pledged total dedication, and promised to give their all in pursuit of a top flight return.

    Following the resumption of training after the Christmas break, SportsDay gathered that, the players have come back “with fresh fire in their veins” to return to NPFL. End.
