Enyimba Football Club will face familiar foes Bayelsa United in a pivotal Matchday 30 encounter of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL). The two teams have shared the spoils in their last two league meetings, and both continue to struggle.
Following the NPFL’s second-stanza resumption and the departure of key players like Ovoke Bennard, Enyimba has made significant signings, including Quadiri Olasunkanmi and Peters Afolayan from Heartland FC, and Isah Mohammed from Ottasolo. These additions aim to revitalize their quest for continental qualification.
Under the leadership of Kanu Nwankwo, the Enyimba FC board has prioritized youth development, marketing, and infrastructure growth.
Currently eighth on the table with 42 points, Enyimba seeks to boost their confidence with a win against 14th-placed Bayelsa United, who have 37 points and aim to move to a safer position to avoid relegation troubles.
The dicy fixture will kick off today Sunday March 23rd by 4pm at the Enyimba international stadium Aba.
