NPFL 2024/25: Oriental Derby Btwn Abia Warriors & Heartland FC Tops Full Programme of Day 10 Fixtures Today

The Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) enters Match Day 10 today, with a full Programme of fixtures on the card.
Resurgent Ikorodu City FC will have their hands full when hosting unbeaten table-toppers, Rivers United FC, at the MJ Arena, in Onikan, Lagos; while Elkanemi Warriors, the only other team yet to taste defeat thus far will welcome Katsina United FC to Maiduguri.
Ladan Bosso’s Bayelsa United FC will lock horns with visiting Enyimba of Aba, who are at present 3rd in the table; whilst bottom-placed Akwa United FC play host to in-form Kwara United FC at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, in Uyo.
Kano Pillars FC and Plateau United FC will clash in Katsina; and Sunshine Stars FC will trade tackles with struggling Bendel Insurance of Benin, at the Otumba Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode.
There is an Oriental Derby in Umuahia, between Abia Warriors FC, the only side with a road win last weekend, against Heartland FC of Owerri, which seems to have found some consistency, after a slow start to the season.
Second-on-the-log Remo Stars FC, will be out to dim Lobi Stars in Ikenne-Remo; as reigning champions Enugu Rangers will look to make up lost grounds when hosting Nasarawa United at the Cathedral; and Niger Tornadoes FC are home to Shooting Stars of Ibadan, in Minna.
After Day 9, Rivers United leads the log with 21 points, Remo are 2nd with 18 points while Enyimba are 3rd with 17 points.
From the rear, Akwa United trails with just 6 points, Ikorodu United is 19th with 8 points just; while Bayelsa United FC are 18th with 9 points.
