    Nigerian Speedster Tima Godbless Makes History with World Record Run

    In a  display of speed and agility, Nigerian sprinter Tima Godbless made headlines at the NCAA East Preliminary meet in Florida, leaving a trail of excitement and admiration in her wake. On Thursday, Godbless, a talented athlete representing Louisiana State University (LSU), electrified the track with a breathtaking performance in the women’s 100m dash.

    With a blistering run, Godbless clocked a new personal best of 10.91 seconds, defying expectations and pushing the boundaries of human speed. The wind conditions were favorable, with a moderate headwind of 1.2 meters per second, yet Godbless’s remarkable time was enough to secure the fastest time in the world this year in the 100m dash.

    The LSU athlete’s impressive display saw her finish comfortably ahead of Joella Lloyd of Florida State University, who placed second with a time of 11.10 seconds. The gap between Godbless and Lloyd was significant, highlighting the Nigerian sprinter’s exceptional speed and technique.
