A group of Nigerian investors and sport promoters under the management of Abajmultilinks Limited have announced the acquisition of Portuguese football club, FC Esmoriz.

According to renowned Nigeria and African football technocrat, Prince Dapo Ajibade, who is the head of the investment team, the acquisition of the Portuguese side, is one of the moves of Abajmultilinks, towards creating a veritable platform to professional football for Nigeria and African football talents.

“We’re a group of sports investors who are enthusiastic about the potentials of the average Nigeria and African football talents.

“Therefore, the acquisition of FC Esmoriz, is to provide opportunities for home grown talents to thrive, and of course, for the benefits of the game and the people,” Ajibade, a former Executive Chairman of Sunshine Stars and Ondo State Football Agency, explained.

It would be recalled that FC Esmoriz has established a smooth and beneficial working relationship with Nigerian football, as it set the enviable record of signing five players from Lagos based NLO side Tonic FC, in a swoop.

In the words of Prince Demilade Ajibade, who represents the new owners of FC Esmoriz as head of international football, the new development portends brighter and better future for Nigerian football.

“The acquisition of FC Esmoriz of Portugal, is a very good development in terms of the business and sporting opportunities for the investors and partners,” the youthful football expert remarked.
