    Nigeria Handball Premier league To Hold In Benin City In Edo State

    The Nigeria Handball Premier league will hold later this month in Benin City, Edo State, the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) have announced.
    According to the a statement signed by Secretary General of HFN Mr. Almu Umar Lambu, the premier league will hold from the 30th of June to the 12th of July 2023.
    Twenty two teams (12 male teams and 10 female teams) are expected to participate in the league including the teams promoted from the National Division One League of 2022.
    The games will be played at the indoor sports hall of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium and the indoor sports hall of the Etete Sports Complex in Benin City, Edo State.
    Mr. Lambu also said all transfer/loan of players should be concluded on or before June 25, 2023, while urging team officials to make haste in concluding the registration process ahead of the commencement of the league matches.
