    NDSF Soccer: Mixed Results For Teams As  Delta  Aims For Strong Rebound

    The Niger Delta Sports Festival soccer event is heating up in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Team Delta State has seen mixed results, with their female team securing two impressive victories against Team Rivers (3-0) and Team Imo (2-1), earning six points to be among top teams in their group.

    On the other hand, the male team has faced some setbacks, drawing 1-1 with Team Edo and losing 1-2 to Team Abia. Team Abia has been on fire, dominating host team Akwa Ibom with a 6-0 win in matchday two to gather 6 points.

    Coach Felix Onigbe of Team Delta remains optimistic, believing his male team will bounce back in their upcoming matches against Rivers, Cross Rivers, Bayelsa, Ondo, Imo, and Akwa Ibom State.

    The participating soccer teams in the Niger Delta Sports Festival include Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, and Rivers.
